I think God gave us companion animals to teach us lessons in life that we would be wise to follow.  Live in the moment.  Love unconditionally.  Forgive and forget.  Be happy to see loved ones when they come home.  Value just being close to someone.  Play hard and nap when possible.  But most of all - I think He gave us them so that we would know just how much

He loves us.  The relationships you share with your most faithful friends are so special and are ones that we can never really describe.  But, after all, a picture is worth a thousand words.  Let me help tell the story.
